God's Lavish Grace Part Nine: Discipline vs. Legalism

“Discipline is different to legalism. Discipline is something I choose. I choose to discipline myself because of my new relationship with Jesus. Legalism says, ‘You have to do this and this.’ The Law says, ‘Thou shalt not.’ But grace teaches me to say, ‘No, thank you.’ It produces a righteousness that surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees because it comes from the heart.”
